Why this site dedicated to Machu Picchu?
A discovery in Machu Picchu: the beginning of an incredible story…
In 2012, Thierry Jamin embarked on an incredible story in Machu Picchu. Jamin and his team believe they made an extraordinary archaeological discovery in the famous lost city, made famous by Hiram Bingham in 1911. This discovery was made possible thanks to the testimony of a French engineer from Barcelona, David Crespy, who visited Machu Picchu in February 2010.
… followed by numerous controversies, intimidations, and threats
In early 2013, several national media outlets seized upon the matter, and significant controversies erupted across the country. All sorts of things were said and written!
To allow the general public, political leaders, and the scientific community to form a fair and clear idea of the discoveries made in Machu Picchu by the Inkarri – Cusco Institute, Thierry Jamin explains on this website how his team and he came to the following conclusion: there is a funerary chamber beneath the Temple of the Three Gates.
